Lotje at Red Ecolsierra in Colombia

We work closely with our partners to build and further develop fair trade chains. The local consultants we work with play an essential role in this. For Lotje and Martin they are the first point of contact towards the farmer cooperatives, processors and other local partners. Thanks to their cooperation, we can enjoy the original flavours of world cuisine here.

 

The Sisaket Fairtrade Farmer Group

For the ingredients of our curries, we work with the Sisaket Fairtrade Farmer Group in Thailand. Because in Thailand they know how to make a good curry. The farmers, such as Khun Orapin and Khun Orachan, with whom we work, know better than anyone how the tastiest laos, lemongrass and peppers are grown. The fresh ingredients are then made into spice paste in Thailand and directly packed locally. So that the original taste is preserved.

Huasca de Ocampo

Since April 2019, we are working with a group of twelve small-scale farmers from Huasca de Ocampo in Mexico. Their goal is to provide good products that they grow in harmony with nature. All the fresh ingredients, like the different kinds of chili peppers, tomatillos and Mexican oregano, which we use for our Mexican spice pastes are produced by the farmers. These fresh ingredients are also processed and packaged locally. So that the original flavors of Mexico are preserved in your kitchen.
